The house can accommodate up to 52 people and is suitable for groups that are comfortable with simple infrastructure, shared bathrooms and a lively house.

You can stay with us, eat together, cook for yourselves, work, rehearse and spend a few days in the mountains.

Rooms & house

The house has single, double, triple, four-bed and larger multi-bed rooms.

Most rooms can be used privately. For groups, different room arrangements are possible depending on occupancy and season.

Showers, toilets and sinks are located on the floors and are shared.

The house is older, built of wood, and sound travels more easily than in a modern hotel. During normal guesthouse operation, quiet hours apply from 10 pm to 8 am. For exclusive bookings, events or use of the Häxehüsli, other arrangements can be made.

Food & self-catering

Groups can stay with breakfast or half board, depending on the season and by arrangement.

Our kitchen is simple, reduced and plant-based. We work with selected regional partners.

For smaller self-catering groups, a simple kitchen is available in the basement. For larger groups or more intensive use, a catering kitchen can be rented additionally by arrangement.

The house offers various rooms for eating, working and spending time together.

Suitable for:

Less suitable for:

• groups expecting hotel standards
• groups needing fully private facilities
• spontaneous loud use without prior agreement

Häxehüsli & events

The Häxehüsli can be rented additionally by arrangement.

It is suitable for music, rehearsals, celebrations, smaller events or a separate gathering space next to the main house.

As we have no direct neighbours, larger celebrations, loud evenings and music events are also possible. An exclusive booking of the house in combination with the Häxehüsli is especially suitable for this.

On request, the Häxehüsli can be equipped with a DJ setup or concert equipment, for example PA, mixing desk, microphones or technical support.

Use, equipment, responsibility and cleaning must be agreed in advance.

Exclusive booking

An exclusive booking of the house is possible.

This means renting all beds. Depending on season, group size and length of stay, a discount may be possible.

Location & surroundings

The house is located on the Brünig Pass at around 1000 metres above sea level, between Lucerne and Interlaken.

In the area you will find hiking routes, excursion destinations, ski areas, lakes and places such as Meiringen, Hasliberg, Lungern and Brienz.

The Meiringen-Hasliberg ski area can be reached in a short time.
