About the house

Naturfreundehaus Brünig (NFS 9) is part of Naturfreunde Schweiz.

Founded in 1949, the house belongs to a nationwide network of more than 70 Naturefriends houses in Switzerland.

The aim of Naturfreunde Schweiz is to provide accessible stays in nature and to encourage shared responsibility.

Naturefriends and Swissveg members receive CHF 10 off their overnight stay.

The house operates as a guesthouse within an active household and working context.

It is not a hotel.

The building is in continuous use.

Depending on the season, the house is personally hosted or run in self-service mode.

Breakfast and vegetarian dinner may be available upon request.

A cat (Orion) lives in the house as well and moves freely.
